FALL ‘22 MINISTRY UPDATE

This has truly been a breakthrough year in many ways. Many of the things we have dreamed about and prayed would someday happen, are coming to pass! I want to sincerely thank everyone who has partnered with The 3:15 Project, whether in prayer, encouragement, wisdom, financial support, or your gifts and talents. In the 12 years since I first received the calling to this ministry, I’ve never been more hopeful, nor have I ever had more energy, enthusiasm, and resolve. Yet at the same time, I’m learning through His grace, to abide, be patient, and let Him lead the ministry.
TEACHING AND PIONEERING AT LEARNWELL
God has opened up an incredible door at Learnwell Collective, a Christian school in Alpharetta, Georgia. Through your faithful partnership, we have successfully planted a “Story Lab” at the school, and we are working on designing elective classes around empathetic and redemptive storytelling.

MARKETPLACE MINISTRY WITH IRON FORUMS AND CBMC
We have been working diligently with the leadership teams of both Iron Forms and Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC) to do two things in 2023 and beyond:
1) Provide regular opportunities for marketplace leaders to share their hope in Christ through their personal testimonies and;
2) Offer “Heart Discovery” sessions in our studio, which help people get in touch with their own hearts, and their heavenly Father’s heart, as a step towards sharing their story.
The Heart Discovery portion of the ministry has been an incredible and gentle on-ramp for so many men and women that struggle with finding time to be with God, and/or to share their story.
What’s incredible about these partnerships is the potential to carry what we are pioneering in Atlanta, into other cities all over the world! By helping other ministries see the power of having regular storytelling be part of their DNA, many more people will have the opportunity to share their stories!
PIONEERING WITH FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)
I’ve been working very closely with the FCA Regional Director and two Area Representatives in Treasure Coast Florida this year. Through the generosity of a local business, we have weekly access to a studio and all the equipment! We are demonstrating what’s possible while raising support to pilot a “Story Ambassador” role in the region, and hope to launch our first “Story Team” comprised of students that will help coaches and athletes share their hope in Christ in 2023.
PLANTING A STORY MINISTRY AT ST. PETER CHANEL
We’ve been working with a St. Peter Chanel in Roswell, Georgia, laying the foundation to launch a Story Ministry in early 2023. This Story Ministry will meet weekly, equipping and mentoring youth and adults to capture stories of life change in the local community.
This is an early example of our efforts to help churches stand up a story ministry. It’s a slow process and one that requires a lot of prayer, patience, and perseverance. There is so much inertia and spiritual warfare that comes against the power and beauty of people sharing the difference Christ has made and is making in their lives.
All of these exciting partnerships, whether in a school, church, or marketplace setting, are accomplishing the mission and vision of The 3:15 Project: that followers of Christ would have a perpetual opportunity to discover, know, and share, and steward their story in a reverent and worshipful way using the tools of the age.
FINANCIAL UPDATE AND NEEDS
God has provided the daily bread for our ministry work, largely through the faithful support of 20 monthly partners giving a total of about $2,900 each month. That provides us with an incredible foundation of resources and covers about 30% of our ministry expenses.
We are praying for more monthly ministry partners as it greatly helps us not only plan wisely but keep us in the mission field and not lose momentum. Of course, one-time gifts and special project giving are both needed and extremely helpful as well.
Please consider us in your year-end giving plans as well as becoming, or increasing as a monthly partner.
